The Jolliff Family
Greetings from southern Indiana!

Located in the heart of the midwest,
Spiderweb Specialties
is only one of many interests for the Jolliff family.

Jolliff Diesel Service, LLC
is the "official" business enterprise that Phillip and I have
owned and operated for over 29 years.

"P and S Jolliff Farms"
is the "unofficial" title assigned to the portion of our corporation
that deals with our row crop and livestock farming operation.

With our "base of operations" situated high on a
hill currently awaiting it's first blanket of snow
French Angora rabbits,
Dairy and Boer goats,
and purebred Shetland sheep,
are just a few of the miscellaneous creatures that we share our home with.

So What's Coming Up Next?
The next few months should be very exciting!

Over the course of the year we have been able to selectively
expand our goat herd and upgrade our flock of sheep.
Soon I'll be posting photos of the four-legged additions to our
web site; and updating our "for sale" page.
Shearing will be in early spring 2011 so I'll soon have
POUNDS of new fiber to indulge my every whim!
Also--breeding season is over!
All the breeding age dairy and percentage Boer does were bred to an OUTSTANDING Boer buck
(AABG LETHAL HEAT) leased from Andrew and Jennifer Faultless of Worthington, IN.
I did not want to expand our Shetland Sheep flock any this year, so I leased my top 5 ewes to a friend
(Beth Caddell of Shepherd's Haven Farm.)  I'm sure she will have extra lambs available next spring!
The ewes are bred to a grey katmoget 2010 ram lamb from our flock
(tentatively named B40B UTSA FBV KIOWA)
sired by UNDERTHESON APACHE (moorit) and out of FANTASIA BLUE VELVET (grey katmoget)

OH!  Also--there w
as a litter of French Angora kits born December 5, 2010!
Broken Smoke Pearl buck bred to Grand Champion Lilac doe
Only time will tell how many and what colors will be available for sale...
